This substantial sized city garden contains mature apple and cherry trees, lawns and formal beds, with long-term maintenance and gradual redevelopment over seven years I have created new plantings and enhanced the substantial plant collection already present. Key to this site is the desire to be wildlife friendly, provide seasonal fruit and vegetables and ensure a year-round production of cut flowers. Fertility and productivity were enhanced through careful and sensitive management and production of substantial amounts of compost and leaf mould making.
